About Us

Ocean City Storm Swimming is proudly operated by the City of Ocean City. Our program offers weekly practices. The main focus of regular practice is stroke development, speed and endurance, and of course fun. Each practice group balances these factors to maximize the development of each swimmer as appropriate for their level of experience and commitment.

The Ocean City Storm Swim Team offers several practice groups for swimmers to gain the maximum benefit from each practice session. Practice groups are based on both age and ability; however, in response to varying ability and experience, some swimmers practice outside of the typical age groupings.

Team Information

Parents:
  • Parents are not permitted to be on the pool deck during practices.
  • During practice times, there are livestreams of the pool available at Community Center Cafe for parents & guardians.
  • We also plan to have recurring "showcase" dates sets where parents are invited to watch their children swim & help during a mock-meet environment.

Lateness & Leaving Early
  • Please keep in mind that swimmers coming late & leaving early distract and interrupt our practices. They also leave your swimmer at a disadvantage.
  • Swimmers must tell their coach at the beginning of practice if they need to leave early.
